Marcelo & Nancy Brondo

Pastor Marcelo Brondo was born in the Province of Córdoba, Argentina, and has been married since April 1992 to his wife, Nancy.  They heard and received the gospel in 1997 and in 2000 began to attend The Bible Baptist Church “Crecer,” pastored by Sam Masters.  There they learned the doctrines of grace and prepared for full-time ministry.  After serving in the church for nine years and graduating with the equivalent of a B.A. from the William Carey Seminary in Córdoba, Marcelo was ordained as a pastor. He, his wife, and young daughter Priscila then accepted the call to serve as missionaries to the town of Cachi in the Province of Salta where the Lord permitted them to plant a church.  After serving for more than ten years in Cachi, they returned to Córdoba to begin a new ministry phase. Marcelo was soon added to the board of elders in the church in Córdoba.

Marcelo had begun to foster a close friendship and fellowship with Pastor Jorge Molina of the Light on a Hill Grace Church (Iglesia de la Gracia Monte de Luz) in the nearby city of Villa Carlos Paz when Jorge contracted COVID and passed to glory.  After Jorge’s death and through a long-standing relationship of trust with Pastor Jim Adams (Cornerstone Church, Mesa, AZ), Marcelo accepted the call to pastor the tiny congregation in Villa Carlos Paz.  Since the Brondos have been laboring there, the church has grown significantly, partly through Marcelo’s weekday radio ministry which allows 200,000 people in the region to hear the message of the gospel.  His wife, Nancy, capably leads the women’s and children’s ministries and coordinates study groups.  To further his theological education, Marcelo is pursuing his master’s degree in theology at William Carey Seminary.
