Biography

In 2022, M.D. became a full-time missionary serving with Third Millennium Ministries (The Thirdmill Story). For 30 years, Thirdmill has promoted Biblical Education, For the World, For Free, believing that every Christian deserves to have well-trained pastors. Thirdmill has done this by “putting seminary in a box” and giving it to the nations, with a particular focus on equipping the millions of pastors in the global South and East who do not have access to sound, seminary-level training in their heart languages due to cost, location, and/or persecution. Thirdmill’s resources consist of a robust and thoroughly Reformed Biblical and systematic theology curriculum which it makes available for free to anyone in video, audio, and print formats, for online or offline use, in whole or in part in 28 languages. Thirdmill resources have been used by over 2.2 million people in 175 countries. M.D. began at Thirdmill as their first Regional Director for South Asia and has traveled quarterly to South Asia to meet with new and existing partners and to conduct pastoral training events.

In 2025, M.D. was asked to also serve as Thirdmill’s Regional Director for Latin America and has since divided his Kingdom labors and travel between South Asia and Latin America, serving pastors in about 40 countries. M.D. notes, “I count it to be among the greatest honors and joys of my life to meet, encourage, equip, pray with, pray for, serve, and learn from the example of, so many faithful pastors serving Christ and His Church in some of the most challenging and dangerous places in the world,” and adds, “None of this Great Commission work would be possible without my Proverbs 31 wife doing all that she does at home to support me in this mission and to care for our family.”
