JMW

JMW is a regional administrator for an international mission agency whose purpose is to bring unreached and unengaged people groups to know Christ. She manages a team of ten from her office in Italy, a team that serves nearly 150 workers in the north region of Africa, stretching from the west to the Horn.

She is a member of Providence Baptist Church of Lecanto, Florida, which is also her sending church. The Lord converted her in 2010 and healed her then-broken marriage, after which she and her late husband served together in Uganda, Tanzania, and Mali from 2012 to 2018. JMW has three adult children and one grandchild. Her husband of 36 years went to be with his Savior in 2022. A renewed call to the ministry was received and JMW responded, as was her husband’s desire – to return to the field; she moved to Italy in May 2023.

JMW has a Master of Divinity from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and is a past business executive and owner, having started several small businesses with her husband. The Lord has used her experiences and gifts in administration to develop her for this specific role, which she serves in with joy.
Her passion is to see Christ known and magnified among all African peoples and to encourage brothers and sisters in Christ to respond to the call for more workers to participate in the harvest.
The region of North Africa that JMW supports is made up of predominantly Muslim people who have little to no Gospel witness among them. Most of the countries in this region are closed to Christian witness. After a one to two-year process of learning language and culture, Gospel workers must establish themselves in businesses or as workers in hospitals, universities, or other establishments. The conditions are difficult and dark, but workers go there because this is where they have been called. The office in Italy provides vision, leadership, training, security, business development, and member care services as well as works with offices around the world to mobilize and train new workers.
